The Scotts Valley Water District hosted on open house event on Wednesday, Aug. 19, to provide customers with the opportunity to learn about the District’s proposed water rate increase. Thanks to everyone who attended!

If you missed the meeting, visit the District website for information about the proposed rate increase, including changes to the rate structure, annual increases and comparisons with neighboring water agencies.

Customers should have received a Proposition 218 notice earlier this summer that provides information about the process and instructions on how to object to the proposed rates. The District will consider adoption of the proposed water rates on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026. The meeting is open to the public.
