If you are opening an account at a location where there is an existing water meter or connection for a water meter, you can begin water service by completing the online Start Service form below or by visiting our office at 2 Civic Center Drive in Scotts Valley during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and every other Friday). A $25 new account fee will be applied on the first bill. This fee will be waived if you enroll in paper-less billing, auto-pay, and register your WaterSmart account.
To close your account and stop water service in your name, please complete and submit the online Stop Service form below or visit our office at 2 Civic Center Drive in Scotts Valley at least two days before you will need to stop service. A final meter reading will be taken and a closing bill will be sent to the forwarding address you provide. This bill will be due upon receipt.
New Service Connections
You will need a new service connection if the location currently does not have a water meter or a water service connection; if you are starting a new construction project; if you are adding fire service; or if you are adding fixtures to an existing building.
