The Scotts Valley Water District will send a technician to your home or apartment complex and spend an hour with you determining what can be done to help you save water, which will lower not only your water bill but your energy bill as well. This service is FREE for all Scotts Valley Water District customers!

During the House Call, we will: 
• Check your toilet for leaks.

• Determine your toilet usage and find out if you qualify for a rebate upon replacement.

• Measure showerhead flow rates and install free showerheads if needed and requested.

• Measure faucet flow rates and provide aerators for kitchens and bathrooms if needed.

• Evaluate the efficiency of your irrigation system.

• Provide you with a personalized irrigation schedule, if appropriate.

• Identify irrigation leaks, broken sprinkler heads, high pressure and other problems.

• Provide water conservation materials and water-wise landscaping tips.

Why Participate?
In addition to lowering your water bill you’ll be learning how to preserve a precious resource. Participants in similar programs in our area lowered their water use by an average of 30 gallons per day totaling almost 11,000 gallons per year. That translates into great savings!
