New Landscape Credit Program effective December 1, 2008!

Weather Based Irrigation Controller
Replace your old irrigation controller with an approved weather based irrigation controller and you may qualify for a credit of up to $100-$500 on your water bill. The credit covers the cost of the controller. No credit will be given for labor, programming, signaling fees or for other installation or maintenance costs. Contact the district to find out if you qualify. The credit amount is based on summer usage history.

Installation of Artificial Turf or Xeriscape
Replace your lawn with artificial turf or qualifying xeriscape and you may be eligible for a credit of $1 per square foot up to 1,000 square feet of replaced lawn and $0.30 per square foot for additional area. Cisterns
Install an approved cistern and qualify for a credit of up to $25 for each 100 gallons of storage up to a maximum of 2,000 gallons of storage.

How to apply:
1) Customers must obtain District approval before receiving a landscape credit. Call the Scotts Valley Water District at 438-2363 to set up a pre-installation inspection.
2) Submit a rebate application and documentation showing the installation has been completed along with receipts for all purchases to be credited. Receipts must show the purchase date, price, make, model, and/or other information identifying the product purchased.
3) District staff will perform a post-installation inspection to verify compliance.
4) Once approved, the landscape credit will be applied to subsequent water bills.

Rebate Application
