Free Online Gardening Tool for Our Diverse Local Climate
September 14-19, 2010 - 4th Annual Santa Cruz County Fair Water-Wise Garden Contest - The Santa Cruz County Water Awareness Committee, a regional coalition of Santa Cruz County Water Agencies, will host its fourth annual Water-wise Landscape Design Contest as part of the 2010 Santa Cruz County Fair’s garden section contest in the floriculture building.
September 23, 2010 - Community Meeting: Recycled Water - Learn why water is a critical issue and how supply shortfalls affect the City of Santa Cruz and Soquel Creek Water District. Also, learn how recycled water is being used for irrigation in Scotts Valley and the Pajaro Valley.
September 26, 2010 - Santa Cruz Reskilling Expo - Help strengthen the reskilling movement locally by attending this event which will teach sustainable daily-living skills, promote skill-sharing for a resilient common future, and enhance the development of self-reliance in Santa Cruz County.
